What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way to view a summary of the latest content from all your favorite web sites without having to go to each site. An RSS "News Reader" periodically checks your favorite "RSS Feeds" and presents them to you with links to the original articles. Thousands of web sites already syndicate their content via RSS, and more are jumping on the bandwagon every day. There are dozens of different news readers to choose from, or you can use a web based news reader such as BlogLines.
